We believe that the dog is a gift of God to human beings. The incredible genetic plasticity of the canine has allowed the development of all of the modern breeds of dogs. The specific breeds have proven to be incredibly beneficial to people in practically every country of the world and in every imaginable way. We believe that the Jagdterrier occupies a special place in this picture. The founders of the breed developed an incredible hunting dog which allows us to efficiently harvest the animals that we pursue and be good stewards of the natural resources available to us.
We believe it is part of our purpose in life to preserve and develop the German Jagdterrier. By interacting with the breed and other individuals who are interested in these dogs, this avocation allows us to work together for the good of the breed and the mutual benefit of ourselves and other hunters and breeders.
Breeding dogs is a very important, but only a small part of our purpose in life. As redeemed sinners, we believe that Jagdterriers are only part of the big picture of life. Our complete purpose for living must come in light of our relationship to Jesus Christ. Our responsibility to God includes more than simply being sure that we recover a wounded deer or cleanly kill a wild boar. The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ makes every person responsible also.
